The non-commercial genealogy website "Familienbuch Euregio" is a genealogical site of the cross-border region Belgium–Netherlands–Germany.
It vividly documents the life and history of people who lived in the Aachen region in the past.
The aim is to maintain the everyday culture of the past in the present in order to preserve it for the future.
In the course of the now 20 years of existence of this Internet platform,
extensive research with various thematic focuses has led to a family network with well over 600,000 personal records.

An important thematic focus was and is the development and publication of data sources
on Jewish families from Aachen and the surrounding area.
Within the framework of the documentation and research project of the FH Aachen on the buildings and graves of the Jewish cemetery,
a comprehensive inventory was carried out.
This created a valuable source beyond the basic idea of inventory documentation,
which was made available to the Familienbuch Euregio for further research on the history of Jewish families in Aachen.

and the results will be published continously.
